⚕️ Injury Corner

Before we dive into the injuries, it’s worth highlighting the Bucky Irving situation. The latest comes from Mike Florio stating "I don't think he's going to be back any time soon. Definitely more information than what's available in the injury report." I kept wavering between it being a bad sign he hasn’t taken any hits on the shoulder and it can’t be that bad because they didn’t put him on IR. These comments hint towards it being an even further extended absence.

QB

  • CIN Joe Burrow - FP, FP. Seems crazy but there are way too many insider reports saying Burrow is likely to start to believe otherwise.

  • IND Daniel Jones - LP Thur. Popped up on the injury report unexpectedly but overall, no reason for alarm unless we hear worse news Friday.

  • NYG Jaxson Dart - LP, LP. The Giants believed Dart would make it through the concussion protocol Thursday but that did not happen. Still optimistic he’ll play but worth monitoring.

RB

  • PIT Jaylen Warren - DNP, LP. Says his injury was minor and he could have returned. Likely to play this week but I think fair to expect his woakload is more of a split with Gainwell.

  • JAX Travis Etienne & Bhayshul Tuten - Both LP, LP. Would lean they both play this weekend but not a lock. Tuten elevated to a more lead role last week but with the injury, anyone’s guess what this week’s usage is.

  • NE Rhamondre Stevenson - LP, LP. WIth a + upcoming matchup vs the Bengals, looking like Stevenson will be active barring any setbacks.

  • LAC Omarion Hampton - on BYE this week, but according to reports from a charity function, Hampton was telling people he is likely to return after the bye.

  • ARI Trey Benson - LP, LP. The Cardinals designated Benson to return on Wednesday, setting the stage for him have a chance at being active this weekend. With other injuries, they are quite desparate for RB support but won’t press it if he’s not ready.

WR

  • JAX Brian Thomas Jr. - LP, LP. BTJ is following a similar path as last week with multiple LPs. Looking for an FP on Fri to have confidence he’ll play this weekend.

  • TB Chris Godwin - LP, FP. Great to see a FP on Thur combined with the first time we’ve heard of Bucky missing a game without mentioning Godwin in the same sentence. Optimistic he returns this week.

  • TB Emeka Egbuka - LP, LP. Case of the flu going around the Tampa locker room that Egbuka got caught up with. Likely not going to impact his Sunday availability.

  • GB Matthew Golden - LP, LP. While I expect him back this week, I’d be hesitant to start him given the snap count we saw him on last week.

TE

  • CLE David Njoku - DNP, DNP. Still a chance he can suit up this week but will at least need to get an LP Fri. That said, even if active, not someone I’d want to play with Shedeur Sanders getting the start.

  • JAX Brenton Strange - LP, LP. Not trusting him back this week (possible, but think unlikely) but positive signs he’s getting limited practices in and nearing a return.

And hope you all tailed the Joshua Palmer bet last night! Best of luck with all your fantasy teams this weekend.
