Mike Evans returns to practice, in addition to Jalen McMillan [Ian Rapoport]
My take: Evans being available for the fantasy playoffs is a welcome surprise for fantasy owners, as the initial time table put a return for the playoffs as only a possibility. I think the most likely outcome is Evans is inactive this week, has a limited role in Week 15, and is then a full-time player for Weeks 16 & 17 vs the Panthers and Dolphins. For Best Ball enjoyers, the Bucs may be some of the most valuable playoff pieces given their low ownership yet high upside (i.e., Mike Evans at 6.8%, Chris Godwin at 11.7%, Bucky Irving at 8.7%).

Omarion Hampton on track to play Week 14 [Omar Ruiz]
My take: Hampton has been out since Week 5 and while it’s hard to trust what type of role he’ll have in Week 14, it’s a major positive we can get valuable information on his usage and how he looks before having to make a decision on whether to start him in the fantasy playoffs. With this week’s game being Monday night and the role in question, as well as HC Harbaugh saying that Kimani Vidal “warms the cockles of the heart,” I’d be looking for another option this week.
