📝 News & Notes

Mike Evans and Jalen McMillan activated from IR [Adam Schefter]
My take: It sounds like both will be active for Thursday night’s game, but I’d be hesitant to play either in fantasy. OC Grizzard mentioned it wouldn’t be fair to expect them to play a full game so expectations are they’ll both be on a snap count.

Philip Rivers likely to start despite Riley Leonard being a full participant in practice [Stephen Holder]
My take: Colts are in desperation mode with only a 23% chance to make the playoffs but appears they feel that Rivers provides them their best chance. Expect a run-heavy game plan but minimal scoring against the stout Seahawks defense.

Kenny Pickett likely to start as Geno Smith dealing with shoulder injury [Ian Rapoport]
My take: The Raiders have the lowest team total of the week (13.5 points). Brock Bowers and Ashton Jeanty are the only fantasy relevant players but even with them expectations should be managed.

📺️ TNF Game Preview

8:15pm ET on Amazon Prime: ATL @ TB (TB -4.5, O/U 44.5)

Start with confidence
Tampa - Baker Mayfield, Bucky Irving, K Chase McLaughlin
Atlanta - Bijan Robinson, Kyle Pitts

Start them if you need to
Tampa - Emeka Egbuka, Chris Godwin, Buccaneers DST
Atlanta -

Sit them if you can
Tampa - Mike Evans, Jalen McMillan, Rachaad White, Sean Tucker
Atlanta - Kirk Cousins, Darnell Mooney, Tyler Allgeier, K Zane Gonzalez, Falcons DST

My favorite TNF pick
Chris Godwin, OVER 37.5 receiving yards
This is a bet that can hit in multiple scenarios, both in continuing his rapport with Baker and outplaying Egbuka, but also if Evans simply doesn’t play as much as the market may be assuming. You can also ladder the Godwin overs for more upside but I feel best about the simple over.
