📝 News & Notes
The Chargers have designated Omarion Hampton to return from injured reserve [Kris Rhim]
My take: After not having played since Week 5, this return is just in time for Hampton to help teams in the fantasy playoffs. I imagine it’ll be a gradual ramp-up starting this week or next, targeting a full workload Week 14 or 15.
Michael Wilson has earned a larger role, even when Marvin Harrison Jr. returns [Theo Mackie]
My take: Wilson is coming off 15/185/0 and 10/118/0 stat lines in the two games Marvin Harrison Jr. missed. Some of that is credit to Jacoby Brissett throwing 106 times, some of that is the absence of any WR competition, but even then these were still very impressive performances that warrant more usage going forward.
Two to three teams are showing interest in Bill Belichick as HC this offseason [Josina Anderson]
My take: Bullsh*t. I’ll eat this email if Bill Belichick is a HC in the NFL next year.

For many leagues, the trade deadline has already passed or is this upcoming weekend. As a result this week’s column will heavily focus on making moves that optimize for the playoffs.
Trey Benson: BUY
He has likely been sitting in the IR slot of a team and may have even been cast off for the season. However, once he returns, which will likely be either this week or next, he is set up for a valuable role with a very friendly schedule. He gets the 6th easiest matchup for RBs in the fantasy semifinals and the easiest in the finals.
James Cook : SELL
James Cook is RB6 on the year and if you can get near that value in return, I’d pull the trigger as the fantasy schedule is rather tough: New England in Week 15 who gives up the fewest points to opposing RBs, a difficult game against Cleveland in Week 16, and ends vs. the Eagles in Week 17. Can he still have great games? Sure. But if I can flip James Cook into Achane or Bijan, even if I need to toss a little extra in, I’m making that deal.
Saquon Barkley: HOLD
Barkley has struggled after not scoring a TD in the last three games but there are indications he can finish strong. He’s coming off an 8 target game and 25+ touches in each of the last three games since the bye. Looking ahead, he gets two top 5 matchups for RBs (WAS and BUF) to end the fantasy playoffs with solid matchups before then.
