📝 News & Notes
The Colts are planning to bring in Philip Rivers, the 44-year old grandfather that last played during the 2020 season, for a visit [Mike Garafolo]
My take: I get you’ve got to do something but damn. Anthony Richardson has not yet been cleared to return so desperate times call for desperate measures.
Tee Higgins is back in the concussion protocol, despite re-entering Sunday’s game after several hits [Ben Baby]
My take: Unlikely to see Higgins in the Week 15 matchup, this gives a major boost to Mike Gesicki while setting up Ja’Marr Chase for a locked-in high-volume role
💰️ Waiver Wire Report
QB
Likely taken but top priorities if available: Jaxson Dart, Trevor Lawrence
NYJ Justin Fields (3% - 5%): It is unknown who the QB will be for the Jets after Tyrod Taylor left the game with a groin injury, and Fields injuring his knee in practice last week complicates things, but if Fields starts, he’s the best option likely available on waivers
MIN J.J. McCarthy (2% - 4%): coming off a 3-TD game with some rushing juice and a plus playoff schedule (@DAL, @NYG, DET) that should keep his pass volume up
WAS Marcus Mariota (1% - 2%): three straight top-13 fantasy finishes in earlier starts and gets a soft stretch (@NYG, PHI, DAL) if Jayden Daniels sits again (though my lean is Daniels plays Week 15)
Players you can drop: Daniel Jones
RB
Likely taken but top priorities if available: Devin Neal, Kyle Monangai, Brian Robinson Jr.
LAR Blake Corum (5% - 8%): coming off a 12-128-2 eruption and being treated as a real part of the offense, he’s emerged as one of the top handcuffs with flex appeal
ARI Bam Knight (3% - 5%): lead back while Trey Benson’s status remains murky, with double-digit PPR points in three of his last four and a friendly Week 16–17 run
MIA Jaylen Wright (2% - 4%): took over after Devon Achane’s rib injury and would project as an every-week starter if Achane misses more time
Players you can drop: Isiah Pacheco, Nick Chubb
WR
Likely taken but top priorities if available: Chris Godwin, Luther Burden III, Jerry Jeudy, Jayden Reed, Christian Watson
HOU Jayden Higgins (5% - 8%): quietly posting WR3/Flex numbers with strong target and air-yard shares and a great upcoming slate (ARI, LV, LAC)
NYG Darius Slayton (2% - 3%): steady downfield role with multiple top-36 weeks and a juicy matchup vs Washington’s deep-bleeding secondary
DEN Devaughn Vele (1% - 2%): 18%+ recent target share and two strong perimeter WR matchups ahead vs CAR and TEN to chase spike weeks
Players you can drop: Matthew Golden, Darnell Mooney
TE
Likely taken but top priorities if available: Juwan Johnson
CLE Harold Fannin Jr. (15% - 20%): three straight usable weeks, including an 8-114-1 breakout, with a 20%+ target share and clear TE1 usage
CIN Mike Gesicki (4% - 6%): coming off a 6-86-1 season-best line and trending as Burrow’s No. 3 option in what should remain a pass-heavy offense, including No.2 while Higgins is in the concussion protocol
HOU Dalton Schultz (4% - 6%): TE12 in points per game over a long stretch, solid weekly volume, and a TE-friendly matchup vs ARI on deck
NYG Theo Johnson (3% - 5%): five top-12 finishes with Jaxson Dart plus strong red-zone usage gives him a legit ceiling the next two weeks
Players you can drop: Zach Ertz, David Njoku
