49ers' Injury Updates

📝 News & Notes
Browns: Quinshon Judkins expected to practice Wednesday, tbd on if he plays Week 2
📝 FF Market: Buy / Sell / Hold
Every Wednesday I’ll be providing a Buy/Sell/Hold analysis of some of the most asked about players. If you have players you want to submit for analysis, just hit the reply button.
Zach Charbonnet: BUY
If the Charbonnet owner thinks he can get one over on the league and sell high, take the opportunity to buy (willing to spend a couple rounds premium to his pre-draft value). His stat line was not all that impressive but his underlying usage was. His floor is the 1b in a run-first offense, his median outcome looks to possibly even be the 1a in the backfield, and the upside is if injury strikes the injury-prone Kenneth Walker, Charbonnet would project as a weekly top 10 RB.
Aaron Jones: SELL
On the surface, Aaron Jones’ 15.7 fantasy points seem solid, especially when he’s a favorite target of McCarthy going 3/44/1 in the air. Underneath, the data doesn’t look as strong as it’s a near even split between Jones and younger RB Jordan Mason. If you can get near his pre-draft value, I’d take it.
Jaylen Waddle: HOLD
The Dolphins offense looked like a wreck and I imagine team owners wouldn’t mind offloading their Dolphins. Waddle has multiple paths to overperforming expectations: 1) Dolphins offense isn’t as bad as they looked, 2) Tyreek Hill partially or fully quits on team and Waddle becomes WR1, or 3) Tyreek gets traded and Waddle becomes WR1. This may be a bench and hold candidate but worth the hold.
📊 Poll of the Day
Last Friday’s poll: After Week 1, who is your pick for 2025 best late-round value?
Agree with you all that Jacory (Bill) Croskey-Merritt is the top pick here. Most his work came in the second half but I expect that to change after his strong performance (he finished as PFF’s top graded rusher in Week 1). The upside may be capped with Ekeler remaining the pass down work and Jayden Daniels often rushing, but it wouldn’t shock me if he finished the year with double digit TDs.
