Lamar Jackson's ankle headlines a messy Friday board, so let's sort out who's playing before you lock in your Week 7 lineups.

📝 News & Notes

Lamar Jackson (BAL) returned to practice Thursday but stayed limited for a second straight day, leaving his status for Sunday's home date with Cincinnati questionable. The Ravens sound optimistic he plays if he gets through Friday clean.
My take: If he's active, he's a locked-in QB1 in a get-right spot against the Bengals. I'm rostering an alternate anyway, because a limited week on an ankle isn't a sure thing until the inactives drop.

Rashee Rice (KC) sat out Thursday with a hamstring issue ahead of Sunday night at Seattle, putting his availability in real doubt, and Travis Kelce was limited with an ankle on the same report.
My take: I'm preparing to be without Rice and sliding Xavier Worthy up as the clear beneficiary. If Rice is out, Worthy's a confident flex with weekly WR2 upside in that offense.

Puka Nacua (LAR) exited Thursday's practice early and landed on the report as limited with a calf injury, the kind of thing you watch closely with an elite receiver. The Rams travel to Las Vegas.
My take: Calf stuff can linger, so I want to see him go Friday before I fully trust him. Tyler Higbee surprisingly may be the bigger beneficiary if Puka (and already Davante) are out.

David Montgomery (HOU) didn't practice Thursday with a groin injury, pointing the Texans backfield toward Woody Marks against the Giants.
My take: Marks is a grea streaming back of the week if Montgomery sits. Bellcow volume in a plus matchup makes him a sneaky RB2.

Tyler Warren (IND) missed a second straight practice with a groin injury, so I'm treating the Colts rookie tight end like he's trending the wrong way for Sunday at Minnesota.
My take: Set your lineups like Warren is out and stream the position. Good thing there is a decent degree of depth at the position for those who need to hit waivers.

Elsewhere: Justin Jefferson was a full participant and is good to go, Rashod Bateman also returned to full for Baltimore, Zach Charbonnet came off the PUP list to muddy Seattle's backfield behind Emanuel Wilson, Breece Hall was upgraded to limited, Baker Mayfield practiced in full again for Tampa Bay, Calvin Ridley (hip) plus Mike Evans (ribs) each sat for a second day, and Josh Jacobs looks to be back this week.

Injury updates to help set your Sunday lineups

Lamar Jackson (BAL): Limited again Thursday but back on the field, lean toward active against Cincinnati, just confirm the Friday designation.

Rashee Rice (KC): DNP Thursday with the hamstring, trending toward doubtful for Sunday night, so have Xavier Worthy ready.

Puka Nacua (LAR): Exited Thursday with a calf, a genuine worry, watch Friday's report before you trust him.

Tyler Warren (IND): Back-to-back DNPs with a groin, plan like he's out at Minnesota.

David Montgomery (HOU): Didn't practice Thursday, Woody Marks is the streaming play if he sits.

Quinshon Judkins (CLE): Limited but moving the right way, expect him active on a trimmed workload at Tennessee.

Alvin Kamara (NO): Limited with a back issue, pointing toward playing in Paris, though a touch cap is possible.

Breece Hall (NYJ): Upgraded to limited, trending toward suiting up against Miami.

Emeka Egbuka (TB): In the concussion protocol and didn't practice, treat him as questionable until he clears.

Calvin Ridley (TEN): Downgraded to DNP with a hip, his Sunday is suddenly in question.
