📝 News & Notes

Kyle Monangai (toe) is expected to sit out again on the short week, leaving D'Andre Swift in line for another workhorse night in Chicago's run-heavy attack. Swift played 77.5% of the snaps and scored twice on 20 touches in Week 6, and New England is surrendering 4.1 yards per carry to backs.
My take: Swift is a back-end RB1 tonight, and with the Bears scoring 72.2% of their touchdowns on the ground, that volume is gold. Roschon Johnson is a touchdown-dependent flyer, nothing more.

A.J. Brown shook off the rust in his return from a high-ankle sprain, running a route on 97.1% of dropbacks and drawing 10 targets despite finishing with just 3 catches for 27 yards. With Romeo Doubs (shoulder) on IR, Brown is the clear alpha against a Bears defense allowing a league-high 11.8 yards per target to outside receivers.
My take: Buy the bounce-back. Brown is a WR1 tonight, and DeMario Douglas sneaks into FLEX range with Doubs out and the Patriots line banged up.

Lamar Jackson (ankle) was limited at Wednesday's practice as he works back, keeping his status cloudy ahead of Sunday's AFC North clash with the Bengals. Baltimore has every reason to bring him along given how the schedule is breaking.
My take: If he hits full participation by Friday, he's a strong QB1 in a divisional game with real shootout potential. Keep a streamer stashed just in case, but don't bail yet.

Elsewhere on Wednesday: Justin Jefferson (ankle) and Quinshon Judkins (ankle) were both limited but trending toward Sunday, Tyler Warren (groin) sat out for the Colts, Alvin Kamara (back) and Rashod Bateman (shoulder) were limited, and T.J. Hockenson (concussion) and Jordan Addison (hamstring) returned to full participation.
