Seahawks at Broncos…

A 40.5 total tells you what to expect tonight, so picking who to sit vs start is less about ceiling and more about which handful of players can actually be trusted in a low scoring battle.

📝 News & Notes

Jaxon Smith-Njigba (ankle) tweaked his ankle Sunday, played through it with no restrictions, and is expected to suit up Thursday despite the short week. He leads the entire league with a 35.2% target share and a 52.4% share of Seattle's air yards, and he draws a Denver secondary playing without Pat Surtain II and banged up at corner with Riley Moss questionable.
My take: we’ll obviously know more before the game starts but expectation is he plays and will have one of the highest projections of the weekend among WRs.

Emanuel Wilson (SEA) has quietly put together back-to-back strong performances, handling 22 touches for 72 yards and a touchdown Sunday while out-touching George Holani 22 to 8. He has soaked up roughly three-quarters of the backfield work over the past two weeks with 5 red-zone touches to Holani's zero, and Denver is giving up 4.5 yards per carry to running backs.
My take: the efficiency is ugly, but volume plus goal-line equity make him a fine RB2/FLEX. Start him while you can as Zach Charbonnet and Jadarian Price will be back soon.

Bo Nix (DEN) and the Denver offense stayed stuck in the mud Sunday even with Sean Payton taking over play-calling, and Nix is sitting on career lows in air yards per attempt and deep-target rate. That is how you end up with an 18.75 implied team total, which drags J.K. Dobbins into touchdown-dependent RB3 range against a Seattle front allowing just 3.6 yards per carry to backs.
My take: fade the Denver passing game outright, treat Nix as a back-end QB2 only, and know Dobbins is a boom-bust touchdown bet.

Elsewhere, a handful of Sunday names to track off Wednesday's reports: A.J. Brown (limited), Keenan Allen (did not practice), and Tony Pollard (did not practice), while Lamar Jackson sat out Wednesday with an ankle issue and CeeDee Lamb was a full go with his thigh, trending toward a normal workload at Green Bay.
