With four teams on bye and the injury report piling up, the waiver wire is doing a lot of heavy lifting this week, so let's find you some help.

📝 News & Notes

Davante Adams suffered a ruptured left hamstring in Sunday's loss to the Cardinals and is set for a procedure that will likely sideline him past the Rams' Week 11 bye. He was L.A.'s target leader, so this leaves a real hole in a playoff hopeful's passing game.
My take: Puka Nacua was already a target monster, and now he's the whole operation. The sneakier fantasy angle is the WR2 and tight end looks Adams leaves behind, which makes a couple of Rams like Terrance Ferguson worth a speculative add.

Tank Dell got the best news of the day, with DeMeco Ryans confirming he'll make his season debut Sunday against the Giants, his first game action since tearing his ACL and MCL back in Week 16 of 2024. It's a heck of a comeback for one of the league's most explosive slot weapons.
My take: Pump the brakes before you plug him in. Nico Collins and the newly acquired Marvin Harrison Jr. sit ahead of him in a crowded room, so Dell is a stash with upside, not a Week 7 starter.

Jordan Mason was designated to return from injured reserve on Monday, putting the Vikings back near full strength in the backfield as soon as Week 7 after his thumb injury.
My take: This muddies a Vikings backfield that has been banged up all year. Mason is a goal-line and early-down threat more than a plug-and-play add right now, so I want to see the first week's split before I trust either back.

Elsewhere: Lamar Jackson could rejoin practice Wednesday as he eyes a Week 7 return, Baker Mayfield is set to practice Wednesday with his thumb on the mend, and the Patriots placed Romeo Doubs on injured reserve with a shoulder injury.

📝 Waiver Wire Report

Running Backs

Kendre Miller (NO) - He stepped in for a banged-up Alvin Kamara and ran it 20 times for 70 yards in Week 6. Kamara is back this week and the Pittsburgh matchup is brutal, but Miller has a defined early-down role for one more week before New Orleans' Week 8 bye. FAAB: 8-12%

Dylan Sampson (CLE) - Designated to return from IR, Sampson should be back in Week 7 as Cleveland's pass-catching back. Quinshon Judkins is also trending back, which caps the ceiling, but Sampson's PPR role makes him the better long-term hold. FAAB: 5-8%

Roschon Johnson (CHI) - With Kyle Monangai sidelined, Johnson dropped 13.5 half-PPR points in Week 6 and should see 8 to 12 touches Thursday against New England. He's splitting with D'Andre Swift, so temper it, but the volume plays in a plus matchup. FAAB: 5-8%

Jaleel McLaughlin (CLE) - The deeper dart in that Browns backfield. If Sampson and Judkins both sit again, McLaughlin led the room in snaps, routes, targets and carries in Week 6. FAAB: 2-5%

Wide Receivers

Germie Bernard (PIT) - The rookie has 21 targets over the last two weeks and obvious chemistry with Aaron Rodgers, turning them into 17 catches, 167 yards and a score with Roman Wilson and Michael Pittman Jr. on IR. He's rostered in about half of leagues, so grab him anywhere he's still sitting there. FAAB: 15-25%

Omar Cooper Jr. (NYJ) - The rookie first-rounder returned from IR and immediately went 6 of 7 for 103 yards and a touchdown. He's locked into the slot, Geno Smith is playing well, and Miami is a get-right matchup. FAAB: 8-12%

Keenan Allen (IND) - Quietly a target hog, Allen has 29 looks, 19 catches and 190 yards over his last three games and has become Daniel Jones' security blanket. A steady WR4 with more upside than that. FAAB: 8-12%

Ja'Kobi Lane (BAL) - Baltimore's clear No. 2 behind Zay Flowers, and with Lamar Jackson trending back this week the Ravens' passing game should get a lot more dangerous. FAAB: 4-8%

Jaylin Noel (HOU) - Three straight double-digit half-PPR games and C.J. Stroud is playing out of his mind. Marvin Harrison Jr.'s arrival and Tank Dell's return crowd the picture, so this is a speculative dart, but the talent is obvious. FAAB: 2-5%

Tight Ends

Michael Mayer (LV) - Don't let the Brock Bowers name fool you, Mayer is the Raiders' tight end soaking up targets, with 23 over the last four weeks as defenses key on Bowers. A mid-TE2 with real upside. FAAB: 5-8%

Tyler Higbee (LAR) and Terrance Ferguson (LAR) - With Davante Adams out for over a month, someone has to soak up those targets, and my lean is it’s either veteran Higbee or more-WR-than-TE Terrance Ferguson over Colby Parkinson. FAAB: 3-6%

Will Mallory (IND) - A deep-league play only. With Tyler Warren likely to miss Week 7, Mallory steps into Indy's starting tight end job. FAAB: 1-3%

Quarterbacks

Michael Penix Jr. (ATL) - He's flashed QB1 scoring some weeks with Bijan Robinson, Drake London and a rising Kyle Pitts around him. Fine for a bye-week fill-in. FAAB: 2-5%

Geno Smith (NYJ) - A sneaky streamer against a Miami defense that has been giving up points. Garrett Wilson plus the emerging Omar Cooper Jr. give him enough to work with. FAAB: 1-3%
