DAL @ PHI Game Preview

📝 News & Notes

The big late night breaking news was the 49ers and Jauan Jennings came to a contract resolution. Jennings’ calf injury looks mostly healed and should be expected to play Week 1. Jennings will join a wealth of offensive weapons that now includes a healthy CMC, 1st round talent Ricky Pearsall, and explosive George Kittle (with Brandon Aiyuk gearing towards a mid-season return.

📺️ TNF Game Preview

8:20pm ET on NBC: DAL @ PHI (-8.5, O/U 47.5)

Keys to success
- Dallas will need their new-look passing game to be clicking on all cylinders to have a chance. The running game is questionable at best and without Micah Parsons, the defense will have a hard time getting much pressure on Jalen Hurts or stopping the run game.
- Philly will just need to limit their mistakes, likely done by feeding Saquon Barkley. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Barkley finish with 20 touches and 100+ yards.

Start with confidence
- Dallas: Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens
- Philly: Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith, PHI DST

Start them if you need to
- Dallas: Javonte Williams, Jake Ferguson
- Philly: Dallas Goedert

Sit them if you can
- Dallas: Jaydon Blue, Miles Sanders, DAL DST
- Philly: Will Shipley

My favorite bet of the night
Will Shipley to score last TD (+3000)
All signs point to Shipley having the backup job to Barkley and in game the Eagles are 8.5 point favorites, we could see the Eagles resting their star RB in the 4th quarter with a multi-TD lead.

📊 Poll of the Day

Yesterday’s poll: What fantasy result do you think is most likely?

Well I’m hoping it’s the final answer and we have a ton of you all winning tournaments! But of the others, I’d actually go with LaPorta. I think it is too difficult for a non-rushing QB to surpass Allen/Lamar, too difficult for an RB that doesn’t catch many passes to finish RB1, and London is possible but there’s just a lot of top talent to beat. TE has the most variance, most injuries, and most dependence on TDs which can be fairly random.
