My take: It’s sounding less likely that we see a big time RB traded but just the fact the Patriots are interested doesn’t bode well for their current RB room. I think if a trade happens, it’s mostly for depth or a complementary role than someone who comes in immediately as the lead.

While last week’s usage trended positively for Likely, I don’t believe it’s enough for his yardage total to be 20.5 yards given he hasn’t surpassed 12 yards in each of his three games. Even if he gets up to 3 targets, his low ADOT still has him likely falling short of the 21 yards needed.

Yesterday’s poll: Where would Rashid Shaheed have the most fantasy value?

I get the allure of the high-scoring Bills but I’d be concerned he’d get lost in the shuffle as Josh Allen spreads the ball around and so many of their TDs are rushing. Patriots would be my favorite choice as even though it feels like Drake Maye as Josh Allen-lite tendencies, Shaheed could slot in as a high-volume target in that offense. But I think more than anything, this shows that Shaheed staying on the Saints is likely more attractive than the majority of potential trade destinations.
