Key Players OUT Week 9

📆 Weekend Update
Lots of Friday news…figured you all could use a weekend update!
Travis Hunter suffered a non-contact knee injury during practice, sending him to the IR and out for at least four games (though could be substantially longer) [Tom Pelissero]
My take: Rough outcome for Hunter after recently building some offensive momentum. Expecting to see the Jags use more of Parker Washington and Dyami Brown, while perhaps also leaning more into the run game.
Rhamondre Stevenson is out for this Sunday’s game [Mike Reiss]
My take: While there will be excitement around this being a breakout opportunity for TreVeyon Henderson, I think there is a wide range of options for how the Patriots could handle this backfield. Personally I am cautiously optimistic though still expecting Terrell Jennings to get a decent amount of run.
D’Andre Swift OUT in matchup vs team that gives up most fantasy points to opposing RBs [Adam Schefter]
My take: With Roschon Johnson also out, rookie Kyle Monangai has the opportunity for a huge game. His prop lines are -170 to score a TD, 76.5 rushing yards, and 16.5 receiving yards. Definitely worth starting this week.
Kyler Murray likely out, Trey McBride owners celebrate [Adam Schefter]
My take: In the two games Kyler has sat, McBride averaged 20.8 half PPR fantasy points. The Cardinals are slight underdogs with a 25.5 team total so expect Brissett to drop back and sling it.
Mike McDaniel to remain as the Dolphins coach through at least the end of the year [Adam Schefter]
My take: Despite their struggles, this is a positive for the Dolphins skill players. Removing McDaniel removes a lot of the offense’s creativity that’s been used to mask Tua’s deficiencies. Achane and Waddle will continue to be strong weekly plays given their high-volume roles.
