Late Round WR Sleeper
And an uphill battle for Bhayshul Tuten
You hear that noise? That’s the silence before the storms. Enjoy this final week of mostly quiet NFL news before the firehose turns on with the start of training camp.
📝 News & Notes
Looking for a late round WR sleeper that’s going to be climbing draft boards? Liam Coen has great things to say about Dyami Brown. [ESPN]
My take: Dyami Brown has all the things you look for in a late WR sleeper
✅ Offensive minded coach with a pattern of success of scheming WRs open
✅ New team which increases range of outcomes
✅ Versatile WR that can fill in where necessary to ensure he sees the field
✅ Questionable depth chart ahead of him (clear path to the #3 and perhaps #2 if Travis Hunter is playing more defense)
Bhayshul Tuten “needs a lot more work” at pass protection according to head coach Liam Coen [jacksonville.com]
My take: This isn’t surprising to hear about a rookie but still noteworthy given it’s often the top reason rookie RBs don’t see the field. Combine this with the fumbling concerns, and it wouldn’t be shocking to see Tuten with minimal work to start the year. I’m still bullish on Tuten for best ball but I think were going to see his ADP drop closer to 140.
KaVontae Turpin was arrested on misdemeanor charges for marijuana and unlawfully carrying a weapon [ESPN]
My take: The NFL has relaxed their policy against marijuana and given these were both only misdemeanors, and there is not a history of issues with Turpin, I don’t expect this to be anything that impacts his fantasy season. My guess is either nothing from the league or simply a fine.

Underdog launched two new limited-entry contests over the weekend, the $8 Dachshund and the $4 Chihuahua. I’m expecting the Chihuahua to fill either Monday or Tuesday with the Dachshund by the end of the week.

DraftKings has been putting out a ton of time-boxed contests this year at a range of price points. If you’re just getting into best ball or overall not sure how to allocate your bankroll, Jack Miller of Establish the Run put out a great article titled: Best Ball Game Selection 2025: Which Contests To Play.
Incredible amount of Best Ball contests out there now. Game selection (based on your goals) certainly matters.
Things to consider include rake, total field size, Week 17 pool size, advancement structure.

📊 Poll of the Day
Hope everyone had a fantastic 4th of July! My apologies for not including ribs, definitely a miss, but they still had no chance against the burger or hot dog. Shoutout Joey Chestnut for further cementing himself as the competition-eating GOAT.

How many fantasy football leagues will you play in this year? This includes redraft, dynasty, etc. but of course not best ball |
