Packers the Team to Beat in the NFC?
Injury Updates for Week 2

📝 News & Notes
Green Bay Packers looking like the team to beat in the NFC as they shut down the high-powered Commanders offense. Tucker Kraft led the Packers with a 6/124/1 stat line, asking the question is he a top 10 TE the rest of the year? What about top 5?
Jayden Reed suffers shoulder injury in first half, looking likely to miss games. If the absence is extended, we are likely to see more Dontayvion Wicks and potentially a more concentrated offense between Doubs, Golden, and Kraft.
Austin Ekeler suffers non-contact injury, appears to be torn Achilles. If that ends up being Ekeler’s final play of his career, suffice to say he had a hell of a career. After trading Brian Robinson and likely losing Ekeler for the season, the backfield is down to just Jacory (Bill) Croskey-Merritt, Jeremy McNichols, and Chris Rodriguez. Wouldn’t be shocked if they explore a potential trade (maybe someone like Antonio Gibson would be a good fit?).

ATL Drake London - AC sprain. LP Wed. Data heavily favors playing. Minimal dip typically seen. +Re-injury risk
ATL Darnell Mooney - LP Wed. LP x3 last wk, then didn't play. Likely playing Wk 2. Data favors mild dip + re-injury risk

BUF James Cook - LP. Hamstring. Unclear timing of injury. High risk to sit if occurred Wed. Thurs practice = key
DEN Evan Engram - LP Wed. Reported calf bruise, not strain. Would mean lower re-injury risk. Lean toward playing Wk 2
KC Xavier Worthy - Not considering IR or surgery. Avg = 3 wks to return. Suspect 2-3 wk target. HIGH (50%) re-injury risk which would be season-ending
LV Brock Bowers - Missed practice Thursday, Raiders are approaching the week as if they expect Bowers to play Monday night, Bowers says he’s hopeful, considering this a game-time decision
MIA Jaylen Waddle - LP. Video suggests AC sprain vs partial dislocation. Returned Wk 1. Lean playing Wk 2 w/o major dip
NE Stefon Diggs - Game 1 post-ACL = 6 Rec, 57 yds on 41% snap share. WRs avg 4 wk ramp up to 90%
