📝 News & Notes

  • Keenan Allen returns to Chargers with one-year, $8.5M deal [Adam Schefter]

My take: This is a big closing line value (CLV) win for people that have been drafting him at his late-round cost as the Chargers are one of the best destinations you could hope for. Clear WR snaps available on a team he spent 11 years with. My concerns though are you have McConkey, one of the top slot WRs in the NFL, and Keenan Allen who struggles to contribute anywhere but the slot. I do not imagine I’ll be chasing Keenan up draft boards and think he’ll mostly be an afterthought with capped upside in redraft.

  • Jordan Addison has been suspended for the first three games of the season [Ian Rapoport]

My take: This comes in at the higher end of the 2-3 expected games but helps fantasy players with the suspension being at the beginning of the season. I still expect to see him drop a little as what feels priced in rarely is. Especially on DraftKings when he gets the SUSP tag next to his name. I’m not too concerned about his zeroes the first three weeks (before byes, injuries, etc.) and will continue to load up on him at the cheaper price.

  • Tyrone Tracy is the starting RB in New York - "It's 100% Tyrone Tracy...there is no competition" [Jordan Ranaan]

My take: I expect Tracy to rise at least a round as Skattebo falls. There is still a ton of concern with the Giants offense but Tracy has the pass-catching skillset giving him the possibility to have a valuable, high-volume fantasy role. I think he’s a strong pick at his current ADP.

  • Devin Neal to miss a few weeks due to a hamstring injury [Nick Underhill]

My take: Neal is officially undraftable as missing out on these preseason reps kills his likelihood of breaking out anytime soon. Kendre Miller and Cam Akers are next guys up behind Alvin Kamara but neither I’m interested in drafting. Likely just going to be another ho-hum year where Kamara outperforms his ADP.

📊 Poll of the Day

Yesterday’s Poll: What is most important to you when considering joining a new best ball / DFS / fantasy platform?

All of these range from necessary to nice-to-have but overall helpful insights for any company launching a fantasy platform in 2025. Will definitely keep these responses in mine as I consider existing and new partnerships.

Where do you think Keenan Allen's ADP settles?
