• The Athletic put out their “Potential Breakout Candidates” article which includes Xavier Legette, Rome Odunze, Cedric Tillman, Marvin Mims, Jayden Higgins, Brian Thomas Jr., Rashee Rice, Terrance Ferguson, Braelon Allen, Kaleb Johnson, and Luke McCaffrey [The Athletic]

  My take: You may see these players hyped as breakout candidates because of these quotes but from my perspective, all of these are based off things already being accounted for in rankings. If we see another breakout list late August, then I’ll pay more attention as beat reporters are more likely to have inside information or learnings.

• Jordan Addison’s pre-trial continues on Thursday and if convicted, is likely to receive at least a 3-game suspension [Adam Schefter]

  My take: I’m bullish on the entire Vikings offense but Addison has been tricky as my expectation is he’d get cheaper as this trial hits the media cycle. His current price is not baking in that 3-game suspension but is accounting for that possibility.

• Colston Loveland’s plan is to be ready and full-go for the start of training camp [@Josh_Frydman]

  My take: Colston Loveland has been a part of my favorite backdoor stack and I’m afraid these positive quotes are going to rise him up boards. Especially if we lose that Q tag on DraftKings. This injury was known by the Bears before the draft and they never seemed concerned about his availability.

📊 Poll of the Day

We should expect the results of yesterday’s poll to be fairly even given it accounted for current cost but across this part of the draft, these are the types of RBs I want to be overweight, usually drafted as my RB4 and/or RB5.

My highest exposures are Charbonnet, Allgeier, and Ekeler as they all have standalone value and would likely have a very strong role with an injury to the starter.

As for today’s poll, I think I’ve solidified what my second favorite draft position is behind #1 for this year. Will share that tomorrow but first, I am curious what everyone else is currently thinking.
