Tracking the Key Injuries

Includes a few late week surprises worth monitoring

⚕️ Injury Corner

  • ARI Kyler Murray - DNP, DNP. Will likely need to get at least a limited practice in Friday otherwise we can expect to see Jacoby Brissett starting

  • SF Brock Purdy - DNP, DNP. Likely to miss this week, Mac Jones to get another start

  • BAL Lamar Jackson - DNP, DNP. Expect to miss this week, expectation is he’ll be back Week 8 after the bye.

  • NO Alvin Kamara - LP, LP. Suffered ankle injury in practice on Wedn, HC Kellen Moore said it is “nothing concerning”

  • TEN Tyjae Spears - LP, LP. Expected to play, limited role with continued ramp up over next couple weeks

  • JAX Bhayshul Tuten - LP, LP. Low risk of missing game with shoulder injury he’s managing

  • BAL Zay Flowers - LP, LP. New injury this week but leaning toward he’ll play this week, albeit without teammate Lamar

  • TB Chris Godwin - DNP, DNP. Serious risk for missing this week.

  • ATL Darnell Mooney - DNP. Day-to-day with a DNP isn’t great after a bye week. Leaning sitting this week.

  • CAR Jalen Coker - FP, FP. Making his debut this week but with emergence of Joe Horn Jr. and Xavier Legette healthy, they may ease Coker in.

  • SF Jauan Jennings - DNP, LP. Good chance at playing this week but could come down to game-time decision. Keep in mind it’s a Sunday afternoon game and we may not know status until after early games kick off.

  • SF Ricky Pearsall - DNP, DNP. Unlikely to play this week.

  • LV Brock Bowers - DNP, DNP. Expect he’ll miss his second straight game, LV has a BYE in Week 8 so wouldn’t be shocked if they hold him out next week as well

  • SF George Kittle - Out this week. 49ers ‘fairly confident’ he’ll practice next week and ‘good chance’ he’ll play in Week 7

  • MIA Darren Waller - DNP, LP. Wedn looked like veteran’s rest, should be fine for this week.

  • CAR Ja’Tavion Sanders - LP, FP. Expecting back to give Bryce Young his full cast of pass catchers

📊 Poll of the Day

Yesterday’s poll: Where will Joe Flacco finish as a QB in his first Bengals game?

If you look at projections across the industry, the consensus is he’ll finish near the bottom of the pack among QBs. I’m leaning towards it being a rough outing but garbage time may propel him into that QB21 - QB25 range.
