NFL Combine
We are only about a week away from the NFL Combine kicking off (full participant list here) and while this class is not as exciting as previous years, I still think we have a few athletes that can substantially increase their draft stock with strong performances.
Here is how I am currently thinking about each position:
QB - Fernando Mendoza is a near lock to go #1 overall, Ty Simpson looks like a late 1st rounder / early 2nd that could get some starts the second half of the year
RB - Jeremiyah Love is an elite talent and is a borderline top 10 pick in the NFL draft. After him, you have three solid backs projected to go late 2nd/3rd (Jadarian Price, Jonah Coleman, and Emmett Johnson) that could be exciting fantasy picks if they land on the right team. After them, it will come down to strong combines and landing with the right teams.
WR - This class lacks the elite upside we’ve seen in previous years but has a few guys who project to be day 1 starters. Expect around 5 WRs to go in the first round with a dropoff after them.
TE - It’s Kenyon Sadiq in the first round and then unlikely to find anyone else fantasy relevant for 2026.
