⚕️ Injury Corner
BAL Lamar Jackson - LP, LP. On pace for playing this week. Expecting minor dock in rushing volume but you’re still likely starting him if he’s on your team.
ATL Michael Penix Jr. - LP, LP. Legit Questionable tag with a knee injury. Lean playing but wouldn’t be shocked if they rest him and play Kirk Cousins in a game they should win regardless.
NYJ Tyrod Taylor - LP, LP. Day-to-day with knee injury but was able to get practice reps with the team. My lean is he’ll be healthy enough to start but still up in the air whether Jets choose him or Fields.
SF Brock Purdy - LP, LP. Still has a chance to play but leaning towards us seeing another week for Mac Jones.
CAR Bryce Young - DNP, DNP. Assume he’ll miss this week. Andy Dalton will actually be a slight upgrade for the Panthers’ pass catchers.
GB Josh Jacobs - LP, LP. Don’t think he’s at any risk of missing this week but the lack of a FP suggests we see a slightly limited workload similar to last week.
NYJ Breece Hall - LP, LP. Expecting him to play this week with minimal impact on his performance.
CHI D’Andre Swift - DNP, LP. No concerns with Swift as he has been able to put up strong results despite managing the issue.
NO Alvin Kamara - LP, LP. This is the same ankle injury Kamara has been struggling with most the season. Expect to play, question is will he see extra volume without Kendre Miller or will that go to Devin Neal?
WAS Deebo Samuel / Terry McLaurin - Both got a FP in Thursday and are expected to play this week. No Jayden Daniels but their presence will be a nice boost for Marcus Mariota.
NO Chris Olave - DNP, LP. Reports are Olave will play this weekend. Not expecting substantial limitations in role or effectiveness.
HOU Nico Collins - DNP, DNP. Expect to miss this week as he’ll remain in the concussion protocol but most return to action the following week
SF Ricky Pearsall - DNP, DNP. Another missed game for Pearsall. Without getting any practices in, not confident when he’ll return.
MIA Jaylen Waddle - LP Thursday. Unexpectedly pops on injury report. Situation to monitor.
CHI DJ Moore - DNP, LP. Was in the hospital to start the week but now on the injury report with a different injury (hip). Progression to LP is promising and my lean is he plays. If he doesn’t, I strongly suggest picking up Luther Burden II.
IND Josh Downs - LP, FP. Back from concussion protocol, no limitations.
GB Christian Watson - LP, LP. Expecting Watson to return this week but on a rather limited snap count. Good to see but not planning to play him in any formats.
CLE David Njoku - LP, LP. Returned to practice with a brace on his knee. Expecting him to play this week but fair to be concerned about a potential snap count.
BUF Dalton Kincaid - LP, LP. Looks like he’ll be able to play in the friendly match-up vs CAR. Worth consideration for fantasy.
NYJ Mason Taylor - DNP. Could just be a day of rest as the team does not seem overly concerned. Friday’s practice designation will be important to watch.
